What you'll do:


As Senior Associate, Financial Accounting and Reporting, you will be entrusted with responsibilities that are central to the integrity of the company's financial operations. Your day-to-day activities will involve preparing critical reports, analysing complex data sets, and collaborating closely with various teams across the organisation. You will be instrumental in ensuring that all general ledger transactions adhere strictly to regulatory standards while supporting timely month-end closes through meticulous preparation of journal vouchers and financial statements. Your ability to communicate clearly will enable you to provide valuable insights during budget forecasting processes and when preparing board papers. By assisting in audits and statutory reporting requirements, you will help maintain compliance while contributing ideas for process improvements that enhance system efficiency. Your involvement in special projects will allow you to adapt your skills to new challenges as they arise. Success in this role requires not only technical proficiency but also a genuine commitment to teamwork, dependability under pressure, and an eagerness to share knowledge with others.


* Maintain general ledger transactions in strict accordance with accounting standards to ensure accuracy and compliance at all times.
* Prepare comprehensive month-end journal vouchers, detailed financial statements, and insightful analyses with particular focus on revenue recognition methods such as percentage of completion and finance lease accounting.
* Support timely month-end closes by coordinating closely with stakeholders and providing clear accounting insights for budget forecasts and board papers.
* Collaborate effectively with group teams to gather essential data for consolidations while ensuring consistency in financial reporting across the organisation.
* Assist proactively in audits, statutory reporting requirements, and tax compliance efforts by preparing necessary documentation and responding promptly to queries.
* Contribute actively to process improvements within financial systems such as IFS by identifying automation opportunities that drive greater efficiency.
* Participate enthusiastically in special finance projects by adapting quickly to evolving business needs with a hands-on approach.

* Show high proficiency in Microsoft Office tools including Excel for handling intricate data sets and PowerPoint for crafting impactful presentations.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills both written and verbal along with the capacity to produce well-structured materials suitable for diverse audiences.
* Apply a systematic approach towards solving complex problems while maintaining solution-oriented thinking that balances attention to detail with broader organisational objectives.
