  • Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports tailored for management review to support informed decision-making.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts for each business unit, providing clear insights into financial health and future planning.
  • Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth audits and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure all accounting practices adhere strictly to Malaysian financial regulations and standards across all entities under management.
  • Utilise accounting software such as SQL Accounting or Xero to maintain up-to-date records and streamline reporting processes.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to guide strategic decisions within the businesses, contributing directly to their ongoing success.
  • Support the implementation of new processes or systems that enhance efficiency within the finance function across multiple industries.

What you bring:

  • Demonstrated experience managing full sets of accounts for multiple entities within a fast-evolving environment.
  • Proven track record handling tax matters including preparation, submission, and compliance with Malaysian laws.
  • Familiarity with leading accounting software such as SQL Accounting or Xero or similar platforms used for efficient record-keeping.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Malaysian financial regulations and tax legislation relevant to diverse industries.
  • Exceptional organisational skills paired with meticulous attention to detail when managing complex financial data.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy across several business units.
