What you'll do:

As a Business Finance Consultant in Penang, you will play an integral role in delivering accurate finance services to a wide array of clients spanning different industries and countries. • Ensure adherence to document retention policies, reporting requirements, and audit protocols across multiple countries to uphold regulatory standards.
• Review accounting entries, cash flow projections, and payment setups prepared by other team members to ensure accuracy before final submission.
• Assist in documenting finance processes and standard operating procedures to promote consistent quality delivery across the team.

What you bring:

• At least one year of professional experience in accounting, finance or similar professional services environments where attention to detail was paramount.
• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or finance or an equivalent qualification or relevant business experience that demonstrates your commitment to the field.
• Business-level proficiency in reading and writing English so you can communicate effectively with clients from various backgrounds.
• Ability to read and write Chinese characters fluently which supports communication with regional stakeholders.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Excel for data analysis, Word for documentation, PowerPoint for presentations, and Outlook for correspondence.
• Self-motivated approach combined with excellent organisational skills that enable you to prioritise tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.
