What you'll do:
As a Senior Executive Financial Reporting, you will immerse yourself in a variety of essential tasks that underpin the success of the finance function. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you preparing high-quality financial statements in line with both Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), ensuring every detail is meticulously checked for accuracy. You will collaborate closely with colleagues across departments as well as external auditors to guarantee smooth audit processes and statutory compliance. Your analytical skills will be put to good use as you conduct thorough reviews of balance sheets and profit & loss accounts, providing valuable insights that inform business decisions. In addition to supporting group consolidation activities, you will play an active role in enhancing existing processes—identifying areas where automation or efficiency improvements can make a real difference. Your involvement in budgeting, forecasting, and special projects will further broaden your experience while contributing directly to the organisation’s ongoing success.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in strict accordance with MFRS/IFRS as well as internal reporting policies to ensure all outputs meet regulatory and organisational standards.
- Perform comprehensive balance sheet and profit & loss analysis to provide clear insights into financial performance and support effective decision-making across the business.
- Assist with monthly closing activities by managing journal postings, performing reconciliations, and conducting detailed variance analysis to maintain data integrity throughout the reporting cycle.
- Coordinate closely with internal stakeholders and external auditors to facilitate timely audit completion while ensuring full statutory compliance at every stage of the process.
- Support group consolidation efforts by providing accurate data inputs and aligning reporting deliverables with group timelines for seamless integration across regions.
- Maintain and continuously improve financial reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and best practice adoption within the team.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting cycles by delivering analytical support, preparing relevant reports, and offering meaningful financial insights to guide planning activities.

- At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in financial reporting, audit or accounting roles is essential for success in this position.
