What you'll do:

As a Finance Executive based in Kuala Lumpur, you will be entrusted with key responsibilities that underpin the financial health of the organisation. Your day-to-day activities will involve managing core accounting functions such as processing payables and receivables, maintaining accurate records through diligent data entry, and supporting the preparation of detailed management reports. • Assist in preparing full sets of accounts and comprehensive monthly management reports to ensure accurate financial representation for the organisation.
• Handle daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, petty cash management, cash flow monitoring, staff claims, and commission payments with meticulous attention to detail.
• Accurately post data for journal vouchers, payments, and receipts into the accounting system in strict accordance with established company policies and procedures.
• Maintain thorough accounting records by performing regular bank reconciliations and implementing robust document control processes to support audit readiness.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues from other departments to gather necessary information, resolve discrepancies efficiently, and provide timely finance-related support as needed.
• Liaise professionally with external auditors during annual audits as well as tax agents, bankers, and other relevant stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth financial operations.
• Undertake additional related tasks as directed by your immediate superior from time to time, demonstrating adaptability and willingness to support the wider finance function.
