An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Executive to join a leading global organisation. This role is based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur and offers the chance to work within a dynamic and supportive team environment. The successful candidate will manage end-to-end processes for accounts receivable and payable, liaise with banks and auditors, and ensure compliance with financial policies and regulations. This role also involves HR administration tasks, making it a truly diverse and engaging position.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Executive, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances. Your responsibilities will include managing both accounts receivable and payable, ensuring accurate reporting of profit/loss statements, preparing forecasts and budgets, liaising with banks on various matters, complying with financial policies and regulations, maintaining financial data, and handling payroll and HR administration tasks. This role requires excellent organisational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Manage the end-to-end process for accounts receivable and accounts payable.
  • Perform monthly/quarterly/yearly closing of accounts.
  • Report profit/loss statement and balance sheet to the manager on a regular basis.
  • Prepare Forecast and Budgeting reports.
  • Liaise with banks on all matters, including bank declarations for incoming funds, account management, and resolving banking issues.
  • Comply with company and country financial policies and regulation.
  • Maintain all financial data and documents accurately and safely.
  • Manage Payroll and HR admin including employee onboarding/offboarding, leave/claim management, salary processing, and statutory compliance.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Executive role will have a Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field. You should have at least 3 years' experience in a finance or administrative role. Familiarity with accounting principles is essential along with experience working with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics. Your strong data entry skills will be utilised daily along with your excellent organisational abilities. Strong communication skills are required as you'll be interacting with various internal and external parties. Proficiency in English is essential, and knowledge of Australian laws and regulations relevant to finance and administration will be considered an advantage.

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years in a finance and/or administrative role.
  • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices.
  • Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in English is essential.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
