RTR Accountant (hybrid)

RTR Accountant (hybrid) The successful candidate will be responsible for performing accounting processes for their respective countries, working closely with Country Operations, Country Finance, Controlling and Shared services. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continuous improvement agenda by providing documented suggestions on how quality and efficiency might be improved.

What you'll do:

As a RTR Accountant, your role will be pivotal in performing accounting processes for your respective countries.

• Perform accounting processes in scope for the respective country and/or region like month end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting etc.
• Regular engagement with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes
• Focus on building deep business knowledge for the countries in scope to facilitate judgemental decisions
• Manage updates and maintenance of the period end and year end closing schedules for the countries in scope
• Manages cash flow, working capital requirements and bank relationships
• Perform review and reconciliation of the balance sheet and bank accounts on a periodic basis producing appropriate working papers and other supporting documentation
• Provide regular updates to the Team Lead on process completion and any escalations
• Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management

What you bring:

As a RTR Accountant, you bring along your qualifications as an accountant along with strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs.

• Degree in Accounting/ Finance
• Experience of performing accounting in a MNC/ shared services
• Ability to learn and use new financial tools and reporting systems
• Ability to communicate to finance and non-finance stakeholders
