This client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their team in Selangor. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the General Accounting team, prepare comprehensive financial reports, handle company tax computations, and ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards in Malaysia. What you'll do:
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the general accounting operations of our client's business. You will lead a team to prepare full sets of manufacturing accounts, ensuring all intercompany balances are reconciled. Your responsibilities will also include preparing yearly budgets and monthly forecast income statements, handling company tax computations, and ensuring SST compliance. You will also coordinate yearly financial year-end audit exercises and establish goal settings for your subordinates.
- Lead the GL Team to prepare full set of manufacturing accounts
- Ensure all intercompany balances are reconciled
- Prepare yearly Budget and monthly Forecast Income Statement
- Handle company Sales Tax report submission and payment
- Coordinate the yearly financial year end audit exercises
- Establish goal setting for subordinates and monitor closely to enable improvement work plans
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Assistant Finance Manager position brings 5-6 years of relevant experience in handling full set accounts, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You possess high integrity and are independent, committed, and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Your proactive nature makes you a fast learner who is self-motivated and performance-driven. Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and experience with an ERP system would be advantageous.
