What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial operations. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you identify inefficiencies and drive continuous process improvements within the finance and accounting functions. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls and streamline workflows. Providing strategic financial insights to senior management will be a key part of your role, along with ensuring compliance with local statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- Oversee financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of reports.
- Prepare and analyse financial statements to align with accounting standards and company policies.
- Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide strategic financial insights to senior management.
- Identify inefficiencies and drive continuous process improvements within finance and accounting functions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance financial controls and streamline workflows.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Executive position brings 3-5 years of relevant experience, including external audit (preferably from Big 4 or mid-tier firms) and commercial finance exposure. A bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance or a related field is required. Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, CA or MIA is preferred. You should have strong analytical skills with the ability to generate ideas for process improvement. Excellent problem-solving skills, creativity, and a proactive approach to work are essential for success in this role.
