What you'll do:
As an Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of this client's business. Your daily tasks will involve handling various accounting duties, from managing invoices to maintaining the general ledger. You will also be responsible for preparing monthly financial reports and assisting with closing processes. Your role extends beyond numbers as you will also provide excellent customer service to stakeholders. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and a commitment to upholding high standards of compliance.
- Handling day-to-day accounting tasks such as invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
- Preparing monthly financial reports and statements
- Assisting with the month-end and year-end closing processes
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc projects and analyses
- Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Providing excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders

- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
- Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, practices and software (e.g. QuickBooks, Xero)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with colleagues and clients
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Self-motivated, organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
