Senior Finance Executive

Our client is seeking a Senior Finance Executive to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dependable and knowledgeable individual with a strong background in accounting

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle full set of accounts
• Ensure timely submission of full set of accounts and monthly financial reports
• Summarise current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Liaise with external parties including auditors, tax agents, company secretaries, bankers, and government agencies
• Handle day to day administrative and operational activities
• Prepare bank reconciliation as well as other reconciliations
• Complete general ledger operations
• Assist with year-end closings
• Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts

The ideal candidate for the Senior Finance Executive position brings a wealth of skills and experience. You hold at least a degree qualification in accounting and are proficient in Mandarin, Malay and English. Your experience handling full sets of accounts spans over 3-5 years. Audit tax experience would be beneficial but not essential.

Key Requirements:

• Minimum degree qualifications in accounting
• Proficiency in Mandarin, Malay and English
• Experience handling full set of account for more than 3-5 years
• Audit tax experience is preferable
• Initiative and proactivity
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Leadership skills to lead a team of 8 members
• Experience in handling SQL Account System is an advantage
• Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
