A reputable company in Sepang is seeking an Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to prepare and analyse key financial reports, liaise with external professional parties, and guide finance executives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements, as well as participating in continuous improvement processes.
What you'll do:
As an Assistant Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of our client's business. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly revenue and management reports, liaising with external professional parties to ensure compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements. You will also review intercompany analysis and support the preparation of budgets. Additionally, you will manage the performance of your department according to Service Level Agreement terms. Your role will also involve training finance executives and participating in continuous improvement processes.
- Prepare monthly revenue and management reports
- Liaise with external professional parties such as bankers, auditors, tax agents, company secretary and other statutory bodies
- Review intercompany analysis, reconciliations and netting
- Support the preparation and analysis of budget
- Manage the performance/KPI of department as per Service Level Agreement terms
- Train and guide finance executives to enhance their performance
- Participate in continuous improvement process and system implementation
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Finance Manager position brings 3-5 years of relevant work experience. Audit experience would be highly beneficial. You should possess at least a Degree in Accounting. Professional qualifications such as MICPA, ACCA, CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a significant advantage. Your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively liaise with external professional parties and guide finance executives.
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience
- Audit experience would be an added advantage
- Possess at least a Degree in Accounting
- Professional qualification such as MICPA, ACCA, CFA/CPA or similar will be considered a plus
