What you'll do:
As a Senior Executive in Accounting, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will be responsible for entering financial data into accounting software with precision, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting in the preparation of financial reports, maintaining organised financial records, supporting external audit processes, monitoring company expenses, assisting in budget preparation and ensuring compliance with company policies. Your excellent communication skills will be utilised as you liaise with vendors, clients and internal departments on billing-related issues. Additionally, you will provide valuable administrative support to the accounting team.
* Enter financial data into accounting software and excel databases with accuracy and completeness of data entries.
* Process PO, invoices, bills, and receipts while managing accounts payable and receivable.
* Assist in the preparation quarterly or annually of closing report and financial reports.
* Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
* Support external audit processes by providing necessary documentation and information.
* Monitor and record company expenses.
* Assist in the preparation and monitoring of budgets.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
* Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to resolve issues related to billing, payments, and other financial matters.
* Provide administrative support to the accounting team.
What you bring:
As a Senior Executive in Accounting, you bring a wealth of knowledge from your previous roles. Your educational background in Accounting or a related field has equipped you with a solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Your advanced proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel allows you to manage data effectively. Your detail-oriented nature coupled with your strong analytical abilities ensures accuracy in your work. Your ability to do Full-Set account and your experience within the construction industry sets you apart from others.
* Diploma in Accounting or related field is required.
* Proven experience (2+ years) in an accounting role is essential.
* Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance is necessary.
* Advanced proficiency in accounting software - SQL and Microsoft Excel is desirable.
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
* Ability to do Full-Set account is advantageous.
* Experience within the construction industry is a must.
