What you'll do:
As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role within our finance team. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing monthly consolidations, assisting in the preparation of condensed statements for Bursa Malaysia, preparing Audit Committee slides, schedules and reports, supporting in the preparation of AGM analysis – mainly on Capital Commitment analysis. You will also prepare monthly management account analysis, assist in budget preparation and manage non-active company annual financial statement. Your role will extend to liaising and following up on transfer pricing document, Master File reporting with subsidiaries. You will also assist in data gathering for tax audit and perform month end and year end close processes – Financial Accounting.
- Review monthly consolidation and assist in preparation of condensed statement for Bursa Malaysia
- Prepare Audit Committee slides, schedules and reports
- Support in preparation of AGM analysis – mainly on Capital Commitment analysis
- Prepare monthly management account analysis
- Assist in budget preparation
- Manage non-active company annual financial statement, tax computation and back office operations
- Liaise and follow up on transfer pricing document, Master File reporting with subsidiaries
- Assist in data gathering for tax audit
- Perform month end and year end close processes – Financial Accounting
- Prepare group consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual management account, financial statement
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Accountant role will bring a wealth of experience and a strong skill set. You will have a Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons) and be a member of an Accounting Professional Body such as MICPA, CPA, ACCA or ICAEW. Your background will include 2 to 3 years experience in Audit and Assurance and Financial/management reporting. With more than 5 years of experience in the accounting and financial reporting industry with a group of businesses, you will also have experience in accounting system operations and implementation.
- Bachelor of Accountancy (Hons)
- Membership of Accounting Professional Body (i.e. MICPA, CPA, ACCA or ICAEW)
- 2 to 3 years experience in Audit and Assurance
- 2 to 3 years experience in Financial/management reporting
- More than 5 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting industry with group of businesses
- Experience in accounting system operations and implementation
