What you'll do:
As an Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial health of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining company governance, ensuring accurate reflection of business transactions, conducting analytical reviews, delivering training sessions, among other responsibilities. Your ability to respond promptly to inquiries, prepare audit schedules, review journal vouchers, and ensure timely submission of reports will contribute significantly to your success in this role.
- Establish and maintain company governance and control over the Chart of Accounts (CoA), policies, guidelines, and internal controls.
- Ensure accurate reflection of business transactions in accordance with established policies and guidelines.
- Conduct monthly verification of the completeness of accounting transactions.
- Review and validate journal vouchers submitted by business units.
- Ensure timely submission of internal and external reporting requirements.
- Prepare audit schedules and provide support for audit queries.
- Respond promptly to internal and external inquiries related to accounting and reporting matters.
- Conduct analytical reviews of financial statements.
- Deliver accounting training sessions.
