About the Financial Reporting Assistant Manager (Seri Kembangan) Role: This role is responsible for providing guidance on financial projections and assisting in the setting up of accounting systems and integration.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making by senior management
External Audit: Collaborate with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and facilitate a smooth audit process. Address audit inquiries and implement necessary improvements
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of regional budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and provide insights on variances
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement. Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management
Communication: Communicate financial information and insights effectively to regional and corporate leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategies and objectives
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and company policies. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development while maintaining a positive work environment
To be successful in this role, you must be well experienced in accounting operations and financial reporting functions.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus
Minimum of four years of experience in financial management and reporting or external audit
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and productivity
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
