About the Regional Assistant Finance Manager Role: This individual will play a crucial role in managing reporting deadlines for countries across different regions in Europe and SEA. Part of your responsibility will include collaborating with external auditors and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with accounting standards and facilitate a smooth audit process.
Financial Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to support decision-making by senior management
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development and management of regional budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against budgets and provide insights on variances
Financial Analysis: Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, areas of improvement, and opportunities for cost reduction or revenue enhancement. Provide data-driven recommendations to senior management
Communication: Communicate financial information and insights effectively to regional and corporate leadership. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial strategies and objectives
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations, laws, and company policies. Implement internal controls to safeguard company assets
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering their growth and development while maintaining a positive work environment
To succeed in this Regional Assistant Finance Manager role, you must be able to manage the accounting and finance operations and provide timely submission of financial reports.
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. CPA or relevant professional certification is a plus
Minimum of four years of experience in financial management and reporting or external audit
Strong knowledge of financial principles, practices, and regulations
Proficiency in financial software and reporting tools
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey financial information to diverse audiences
Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and productivity
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
Proven ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
