About the Senior Accounts Executive Role:
As the Senior Accounts Executive, you will mainly be involved in handling the accounting related matters for the company based in Shah Alam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all general ledgers are updated timely, accurately and processed in accordance to the financial policies and established procedures
• Take responsibility for overall reporting, local, head office and statutory reporting
• Maintain chart of accounts comply with the company’s commercial operations financial model
• Monitor Automaster accounting ID and ensure interface entries are accurate and comply with commercial operations financial model transaction plan
• Ensure fixed assets registers are properly updated and assist in analysing accounts for month-end closing
• Prepare monthly reporting analysis by comparisons with prior year and budget
• Provide support on accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury functions
• Prepare tax computation and reporting, and review tax schedule for yearly corporate tax submission
• Review all balance sheet accounts reconciliation and give advice to team member for any issues that arise
• Prepare year-end audit accounts computation and liaise with auditors
• Fully support any project or system enhancement which impact to accounting to ensure interface accounting entries mapping are accurately and comply with the commercial operations financial model
• Support market plan and business plan
• Liaise with and clarify questions from affiliates, auditors, tax agents and other financial and regulatory authorities

To succeed in this Senior Accounts Executive role, you must possess analytical thinking with the ability to analyse and synthesise information to understand issues, identify options, and support sound decision-making.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or equivalent with a minimum of three to five years of relevant accounting experience
• Professional certificate in accountancy (e.g. ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MIA) or currently pursuing the certificate
• Experienced in the audit and tax-related matters of listed companies
• Attention to detail with the ability to work in a conscientious, consistent and thorough manner
• Communication skills with the ability to listen and communicate openly, honestly, and respectfully with different audiences, promoting dialogue and building consensus
