Accountant

An exciting Accountant job has just become available at a renowned healthcare company based in Petaling Jaya. Any candidate with strong external audit experience of three to four years of working experience is welcome to apply.

About the Accountant Role:
This role requires you to be responsible for providing timely and accurate financial reports and ensure completeness of accounting transactions monthly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible on financial statement of entity with less complexity
• Ensure governance of Siemens FRG and CoA, policies and guidelines and internal controls
• Ensure business transactions are correctly reflected based on the policies and guidelines
• Ensure completeness of accounting transactions monthly
• Perform analytical reviews of financial statement
• Take charge of checking of all journal vouchers submitted by business units
• Ensure timely submission of internal and external reporting requirements
• Support Senior Accountants in preparation of audit schedules and preparation of central transaction journal entries
• Be responsible in provide accounting trainings to the business
• Support in implementation of guidelines and processes

To succeed in this Accountant role, you must be strong in people management, critical thinking and have the right mindset for the job.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Accounting , preferably with professional accounting qualification
• At least two years of working experience in accounting/ finance with exposure to business requirements and interfaces
• SAP FICO knowledge
• Strong team player, independent and embrace high performance culture and SHS principles
• Ability to take lead and execute complex task to success independently and effectively
• Strong communication and presentation skills to facilitate process of sharing information and knowledge
