Finance Analyst

An exciting Finance Analyst job has become available at one of the shared services in Kuala Lumpur.

About the Finance Analyst Role:
In this role, you will support the Finance Manager & Director - Asia for regional management reports, assist in ongoing process improvements and drive standardisation and efficiency

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with all entities in Asia on the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting submission and ensure 'Precision, Accuracy and Timeliness (PAT)'
• Advise reporting entities on corporate accounting policies and U.S. GAAP
• Check and verify the information is filled in CAPEX and DISPOSAL application from BUs
• Manage cash flow and working capital with constant reviews to be able to identify risk spots and work directly with stakeholders on improvement actions
• Act as an administrator and key user to support site GL reconciliation requirements
• Initiate and adopt digitisation opportunities through designing, developing, and implementing applications and workflow platforms for automation

To succeed in the AR Collection Manager job, you will need to have the ability to work effectively within a team environment and cooperatively with affiliates across the Asia Pacific region.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field of study
• Three to four years of experience in a similar role
• Prior experience in an MNC/SSC environment is an advantage
• Strong understanding of internal controls, operational and system control procedures
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as good interpersonal skills to develop support and engagement from various stakeholders
