A Finance Manager job has become available at a company in automotive industry based in Klang.

Our client, a leading player in the automotive industry, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their team in Klang. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Malaysia's largest tyre distributors, affiliated with a Tokyo Exchange-listed group of companies. The role offers a competitive salary range of RM120,000 to RM180,000 per annum and the chance to work with major tyre brands.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include managing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulations, handling financial consolidation for three subsidiaries, preparing and analysing consolidated Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets. You will also implement and manage accounting systems to improve financial operations. Your strong Excel skills will be utilized for financial consolidation, provision calculations, and management account preparation. You will operate independently with minimal supervision while maintaining focus on accuracy and detail.

* Prepare and analyse consolidated Profit & Loss statements and Balance Sheets.
* Implement and manage accounting systems, including stock control and inventory management.
* Use Sage accounting system for all financial operations.
* Operate independently with minimal supervision, focusing on accuracy and detail.
* Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes, providing insights and strategic financial planning.
* Utilize strong Excel skills for financial consolidation, provision calculations, and management account preparation.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings at least 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a similar finance role. You have proficiency in Excel and experience with financial consolidation and provision calculations. Familiarity with Sage accounting software and MPERS is essential. You are able to work independently demonstrating strong organisational and leadership skills. Excellent communication skills are required to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Speaking Japanese would be advantageous but not mandatory.
