What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager Business Partner, you will play a pivotal role in managing core finance operations. Your ability to gather, analyse, and interpret financial data will be crucial in identifying key trends and opportunities for improvement. You will develop insightful financial reports that clearly communicate financial performance to non-financial stakeholders. Your role will involve partnering closely with various business units or departments to provide financial guidance and support strategic initiatives. You will also be responsible for the development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts while monitoring performance against targets.

• Manage core finance operations including processing invoices, handling expense reports, assisting with month-end close activities, and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Gather, analyse, and interpret financial data to identify key trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop insightful financial reports, dashboards, and presentations that clearly communicate financial performance to non-financial stakeholders.
• Partner closely with various business unit(s) or department(s) to understand their objectives, provide financial guidance, and support strategic initiatives.
• Development of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, monitoring performance against targets and providing variance analysis.
• Identify and assess financial risks and opportunities, contributing to the development of mitigation strategies.
• Continuously look for ways to streamline finance processes and enhance efficiency.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and relevant accounting regulations.
• Work effectively with other finance team members and cross-functional teams.
• Tackle various financial analysis projects as needed to support business decisions.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager Business Partner position brings a wealth of experience and a strong educational background in finance or a related field. You have a professional accounting qualification and have spent at least 5 years in a finance leadership role, preferably with exposure to business partnering or consulting. Your strong analytical and strategic thinking skills enable you to translate financial data into actionable business insights. You possess excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Experience in identifying and assessing new business opportunities will be a strong advantage.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CA) is highly desirable.
• 5+ years of experience in a finance leadership role, preferably with exposure to business partnering or consulting.
• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
• Proven ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
• Experience in identifying and assessing new business opportunities is a strong advantage.
