Finance Manager
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee daily finance operations, lead the preparation of statutory financial reports, and manage year-end audit processes.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances. Your responsibilities will include reviewing financial statements and management reports, overseeing daily finance operations, leading the preparation of statutory financial reports, liaising with stakeholders on reporting requirements, managing year-end audits, and leading finance transformation projects. Your expertise in these areas will be vital in ensuring the company's financial stability and growth.
- Review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and cash flow management.
- Lead the preparation and submission of statutory financial reports.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on reporting requirements.
- Manage year-end audit process, including preparation of audit schedules and supporting documents.
- Act as the main liaison with external auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit completion.
- Lead or support finance transformation projects such as system upgrades, automation, and process redesign.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance along with a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and audit processes. You have spent at least 5-7 years honing your skills in these areas. Your background includes managing finance operations, preparing statutory financial reports, managing year-end audits, and leading finance transformation projects. Your ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent; CPA, ACCA, or CIMA is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards.
- Strong knowledge of audit processes.
