Finance Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations, lead budgeting processes, and provide strategic financial insights. The successful candidate will ensure accurate reconciliation of sales, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and deposits. They will also monitor budget performance, manage cash flow, and collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies.

What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate reconciliation of sales, inter-company transactions, fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, and deposits. Your role will involve leading the annual budgeting process and collaborating with department heads to establish achievable financial plans. You will monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to management for informed decision-making. Additionally, you will manage the organization's cash flow and oversee the management of fixed assets.

• Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of various financial elements
• Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads
• Monitor budget performance and analyze variances

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; Master’s degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) are preferred

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting processes, and financial analysis techniques
• Proficiency in financial software and tools with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent analytical skills
