This role offers the opportunity to oversee financial operations and reporting for the company's Southeast Asia region, playing a pivotal part in driving their financial success and supporting ambitious growth plans. The position is based in Bangsar and offers a competitive salary range of RM120,000 to RM180,000 per annum.

What you'll do:

As the Regional Finance Manager for Southeast Asia, you will be an integral part of our client's team. Your role will involve managing the complete spectrum of financial operations, from budgeting and forecasting to reporting and cash flow management. You will provide valuable financial insights to support strategic decisions and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your leadership skills will be crucial in guiding the finance team while collaborating with other departments to optimise processes and reduce costs. Representing the finance function in key meetings, your ability to present complex financial data in an understandable manner will be essential.

* Manage end-to-end financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and cash flow management for the SEA region
* Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making
* Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and accounting standards
* Oversee the work of the finance team, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation
* Represent the finance function in key business meetings and present financial data to stakeholders

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Regional Finance Manager (SEA) role brings a wealth of experience in regional or group financial management within multinational organisations. As a qualified accountant with over 12 years' post-qualification experience, you have a proven track record of leading high-performing finance teams. Your strong commercial acumen enables you to provide strategic financial advice to business leaders. With excellent communication skills, you can translate complex financial information into understandable terms for non-finance stakeholders. Proficiency in using ERP systems for financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting is essential, as is knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards in the water treatment industry.

* Qualified accountant (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) with 12+ years' post-qualification experience
* Substantial experience in a regional or group financial management role within a multinational organisation
* Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing finance teams
* Strong commercial acumen with the ability to provide strategic financial advice to business leaders
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in translating complex financial information for non-finance stakeholders
* Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting using ERP systems
* Knowledge of financial regulations and accounting standards applicable to the water treatment industry
