What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of our client's automobile retail dealerships business. You will lead a dedicated team of professionals and oversee all aspects of financial operations across multiple entities. Your responsibilities will extend from developing budgets and financial forecasts to preparing comprehensive financial reports for management. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying trends and opportunities that can drive business growth. Collaborating with other departments to enhance financial performance will also be part of your remit.

• Oversee a team of 10 accounting and finance professionals, managing financial reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, financial planning & analysis, and treasury functions across eight entities.
• Support the Finance department’s operations within the Auto Retail Dealerships segment.
• Develop and execute budgets and financial forecasts to drive strategic planning.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards in financial and management reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify key trends, potential risks, and growth opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial performance.
• Act as the primary point of contact for external and internal auditors, company secretaries, bankers, and legal advisors.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings along a professional qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. You have at least five years of solid working experience in an external audit or commercial accounting role. Experience in the automotive sector would be an added advantage. Your familiarity with Microsoft Excel intermediate/advance functions will be beneficial in this role. As an individual, you are diligent, proactive, optimistic with great interpersonal skills. Your analytical skills coupled with a positive attitude make you an ideal fit for this role.

• Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CIMA, ICAEW, MICPA) or a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of hands-on experience in external audit and/or commercial accounting.
• Experience in the automotive industry is a plus.
• Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly Oracle NetSuite, is advantageous.
• Strong competency in Microsoft Excel, including intermediate to advanced functions.
• Excellent command of English, with a proactive, diligent, and optimistic approach.
• Strong analytical skills paired with a positive mindset and strong character.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
