RTR Team Lead (Hybrid)

RTR Team Lead (Hybrid) The successful candidate will be responsible for managing delivery of accounting processes for the countries/region in scope, liaising closely with Country Operations, Country Finance and Controlling team, and you will also have the opportunity to manage complex accounting processes.

What you'll do:

As an RTR Team Lead, your role will be pivotal in performing complex tasks related to accounting processes for various countries/regions.

• Perform accounting processes in scope for the respective country and or region like month end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting etc.
• Support the Regional Team with audit reviews
• Engage regularly with country teams and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes and internal controls as per the ICS
• Manage updates and maintenance of the period end and year end closing schedules for the countries in scope
• Manage cash flow, working capital requirements and bank relationships
• Ensure the review and reconciliation of the balance sheet and bank accounts on a periodic basis producing appropriate working papers, supporting documentation and ensure issues are identified and resolved or escalated where appropriate
• Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
• Drive continuous improvement agenda

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this RTR Team Lead position is a qualified accountant with strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements.

• Qualified accountant with strong knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements in relation to accounting standards (IFRS) and local GAAPs in scope
• Experience of using modern Finance/ERP systems preferably Oracle Cloud
• Prior experience of performing accounting in a logistics company
• Experience of managing small teams of accountants
• Ability to communicate effectively to finance and non-finance stakeholders
• 5-8 years post qualification experience
