This client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to serve as a key custodian to the Company Manager. This role is integral to the business, ensuring that financial information produced is of high quality and integrity, actively applied towards achieving financial goals. The successful candidate will be involved in planning and management accounting, inventory management, and local treasury activities.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in driving the financial success of the business. You will implement robust financial planning strategies, perform detailed financial analysis, and monitor the overall financial performance of the business. Your expertise in inventory management will ensure compliance with group policies and accounting standards. As a custodian of cash for the local business, you will execute treasury activities in line with established policies. Your ability to manage Business Cashflow forecasting will contribute to improving forecast accuracy. Your role will also involve ensuring that the company has sufficient cash to meet its obligations.
- Implement financial planning and perform financial analysis, identifying weaknesses and variances
- Monitor the financial performance of the business against budget
- Manage budgeting and projection processes
- Support the Company manager in financial decisions for all business areas
- Review ownership of equipment and parts deliveries for projects and classification as inventory
- Execute local treasury activities in accordance with established policies, guidelines, procedures and rules
- Manage Business Cashflow forecasting, improve forecast accuracy, participate in cash pooling
- Ensure company has sufficient cash to meet its obligations, administer external bank borrowings and/or Interco funding on an as need basis after alignment with Group Treasury
What you bring:
As the ideal candidate for the Finance Manager position, you bring a wealth of experience from your minimum 10 years in a Finance/Accounting Executive role. Your degree in Accounting or related field equips you with the necessary knowledge base for this role. Your proficiency with SAP is essential for this position. You are competent in Project Accounting, Finance & Accounting, Financial Analysis , and Treasury. Your analytical thinking skills coupled with your proactive approach to problem-solving make you an asset to any team. You are meticulous with an eye for detail and have proven ability to multi-task and manage deadlines effectively.
- Degree in Accounting or related field
- Minimum 10 years experience in a Finance/Accounting Executive role preferably in Project environment
- Proficiency with SAP is essential
- Competency in Project Accounting, Finance & Accounting, Financial Analysis , and Treasury
- Analytical thinking skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving (Business Partnering)
- Meticulous attention to detail with ability to multi-task and manage deadlines
- Diplomatic with strong relationship-building skills
