Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager to join their team in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a full spectrum of the company's accounting and finance tasks, from operations and compliance matters to data analysis for management decision making. You will be instrumental in monitoring day-to-day finance operations, liaising with external stakeholders, managing financial audits and treasury matters, and establishing finance policies. Your expertise will help identify areas for improvement and methods to minimise financial risk.

What you'll do:
As a Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of the company's accounting and finance tasks. This includes monitoring daily operations, liaising with external stakeholders, managing cash flows, ensuring compliance with regulations, managing audits, establishing policies, tracking financial performance, and leading your team effectively. Your strategic insights will be crucial in identifying areas for improvement and minimising financial risk.
* Monitor day-to-day finance operations including invoicing and other transactions
* Liaise with external stakeholders such as auditors, company secretary, bankers, lawyers, government authorities etc.
* Oversee monthly cash flow and ad-hoc cash flow forecast
* Ensure system practices, control and procedures comply with all applicable accounting and reporting regulations
* Manage annual financial audit and treasury matters
* Establish and maintain finance policies and procedures for the company
* Track company's financial status and performance to identify areas for improvement
* Provide guidance and supervision to the team to ensure effectiveness of team members
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Senior Finance Manager/Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in the accounting field along with a solid understanding of Malaysia Taxation Laws. Your background should include work in property development or audit/consultancy roles. Membership in professional bodies such as MIA or CPA would be required. Above all else, your excellent communication skills will enable you to liaise effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
* Possess a minimum Degree in Accountancy
* Minimum 8 to 10 years of working experience in Accounting field
* Well versed with Malaysia Taxation Laws
* Experience in property development company will be required
* Audit/ consultancy background is an added advantage
* Membership of professional bodies like MIA, CPA etc. will be required
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
