Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Puchong. This role is integral to the company's growth strategy, with Malaysia identified as a key market. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of finance within this market, including planning, reporting, budget compliance, and implementing local ERP systems. What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of our client's operations in Malaysia. You will oversee all aspects of finance, from managing budgets and forecasts to ensuring compliance with statutory requirements. Your excellent problem-solving skills will be put to use as you navigate complex financial challenges, while your strong interpersonal skills will enable you to build effective relationships with stakeholders across the business. With your guidance, our client can continue to grow and thrive in this key market.

  • Oversee corporate financial forecasts, results and plans
  • Manage the preparation of the annual company’s budget and quarterly forecast submissions
  • Define processes and internal controls and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
  • Liaise with corporate secretary vendors to ensure full compliance on all tax, accounting and statutory related matters
  • Implement local ERP system (SAP) with the support of the HQ Finance and IT team
  • Monitor financial performance of distributors and provide insightful financial analyses
  • Provide business support to the Sales and Marketing team, highlighting potential credit risk, tax exposure, cross border remittance issue and foreign exchange exposure

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in accounting and financial analysis. You are comfortable working in cross-functional/regional projects and have a clear understanding of the company's desired future state. Your entrepreneurial mindset allows you to thrive in ambiguity set up, while your strong critical thinking skills enable you to approach problem-solving strategically. With your knowledge of statutory legislation and regulations, coupled with proficiency in finance software such as SAP S4 Hana, you are well-equipped to drive our client's financial success.
