What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing, managing, and leading our client's accounting and financial reporting functions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring completion of the general ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations, producing P & L statements, submitting accurate monthly/quarterly management accounts on time, coordinating with various divisions to complete annual budgeting exercises, ensuring compliance with financial control procedures, managing the company's financial systems, providing insightful commentary on company performance, and ensuring timely tax payments.
- Oversee, manage, and lead the Group's accounting and financial reporting functions
- Ensure completion of the general ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations and production of the P & L statements
- Responsible for the accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly management accounts
- Coordinate with relevant divisions/departments/personnel to complete the overall Group's annual budgeting exercise
- Ensure compliance with financial control procedures, financial limits of authority and standard operating procedures of the Group
- Manage the company's financial systems
- Provide commentary and analysis around the company's performance
- Ensure monthly tax payment/final tax payment are made on a timely basis
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role will bring a professional accounting or degree qualification with good academic results. You should have at least 1 year of working experience in a Public Listed Company. Experience in external audit will be an advantage. You should possess strong knowledge of financial management, analytical skills, regulatory requirements along with strong integrity, leadership skills. The ability to work independently while meeting tight deadlines is crucial for this role.
