Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team in Ipoh. This role offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of Accounts, Costing, Payroll and Office Administration Departments. The successful candidate will ensure that accounts and reports comply with accounting standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.
What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations. Your primary responsibilities include monitoring all financial and costing records, ensuring their accuracy, and carrying out monthly and yearly end closing accounts as scheduled. You will attend monthly Cost Meetings to discuss budget variations and oversee the compilation of the monthly Budget Operations & Review report for management decision making. Additionally, you will ensure the smooth operation of office administrative functions, equipment, and payroll departments. You will also assist the Senior Manager - Finance in monitoring fund requirements and availability, preparing Monthly and Quarterly Cash Flow forecasts, reviewing & monitoring Management staff payroll, reviewing insurance renewal computations, monitoring general insurance claims computations, and supervising the consolidation of accounts within the group.
- Monitor all financial and costing records to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure monthly and yearly end closing accounts are carried out as scheduled.
- Attend monthly Cost Meetings for discussion on variations from Budget.
- Oversee compilation of the monthly Budget Operations & Review report for management decision making.
- Ensure smooth operation of office administrative function, equipments and payroll department.
- Assist Senior Manager - Finance in monitoring funds requirement and availability.
- Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Cash Flow forecast.
- Review & monitor Management staff payroll.
- Review insurance renewal computation and monitor the general insurance claims computation.
- Supervise the consolidation of accounts of companies within the group.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in managing finance departments including Accounts, Costing, Payroll and Office Administration. You hold a Degree in Accountancy and preferably are a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. Your strong knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and statutory requirements sets you apart. You have proven experience in preparing reports for management decision making and have the ability to monitor fund requirements and availability effectively. Your experience in preparing Monthly and Quarterly Cash Flow forecasts and reviewing & monitoring Management staff payroll will be highly valued.
- Degree in Accountancy is required.
- Membership in Malaysian Institute of Accountants is preferred.
- Proven experience in managing finance departments including Accounts, Costing, Payroll and Office Administration.
- Strong knowledge of accounting standards, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Experience in preparing reports for management decision making.
- Ability to monitor fund requirements and availability effectively.
- Experience in preparing Monthly and Quarterly Cash Flow forecasts.
