What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the financial success of our client's organisation. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports across both local and overseas branches. You will review journal entries, suppliers' invoices, staff claims, and ensure payments are completed promptly. Additionally, you will assist in preparing the annual budget for various branches while also supporting indirect tax reporting. Your leadership skills will be crucial as you manage performance, provide guidance, and foster competency development among your direct reports. Lastly, you will maintain the accounting system, ensuring it remains up-to-date.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of local and overseas branch consolidated monthly management and financial reports in accordance with MFRS
- Review and approve journal entries raised by Finance Executives
- Review suppliers’ invoices and staff claims with all relevant supporting documents
- Ensure payments are done in a timely manner
- Assist in the monitoring, coordination, preparation and analysis of the annual budget for local and overseas branches
- Support indirect tax reporting such as Withholding Tax and Sales and Service Tax
- Manage the performance, provide guidance and identify competency development of direct reports
- Maintain the accounting system, ensuring it is kept current and updated
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in audit & accounting or finance functions. You hold a professional qualification or degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. Your familiarity with accounting software will be highly beneficial in this role. Your ability to manage teams effectively while maintaining high standards of financial reporting will set you apart.
