My client is a large MNC seeking for a Finance Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring compliance with audit, tax, and statutory requirements, as well as participating in continuous improvement processes.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This role offers the opportunity to manage financial and statutory accounting for an assigned entity, prepare annual budgets, develop cash flow forecasts, and strengthen internal controls and compliance processes. What you'll do:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial health of our client's organisation. You will be responsible for managing the financial and statutory accounting for an assigned entity, preparing WIP reports, computing key financial indicators, preparing annual budgets, developing cash flow forecasts, liaising with auditors, handling tax matters, assisting in developing financial strategies, strengthening internal controls, and collaborating with departments to analyse financial performance. Your ability to work independently while also being able to collaborate effectively with other departments will be key to your success in this role.

  • Manage the financial and statutory accounting for the assigned entity
  • Prepare Work in Progress (WIP) reports and provide recommendations on project profitability and cost optimisation
  • Compute key financial indicators and provide trend analysis of financials
  • Prepare annual budgets, track budget performance, and analyse variances
  • Develop cash flow forecast and monitor actual cash flow position
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors for timely filing
  • Handle tax matters including withholding tax and corporate tax
  • Assist in developing and implementing financial strategies to achieve business objectives
  • Strengthen internal controls and compliance processes
  • Collaborate with departments to analyse financial performance and identify areas for improvement

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Finance Manager role will bring a wealth of experience from the construction industry along with a degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications. With at least 5 years of relevant working experience under your belt, you are proficient in MS Office applications and have knowledge of SAP. Your meticulous attention to detail allows you to spot any discrepancies that may arise. You are capable of working independently but also understand the importance of collaboration when analysing financial performance. Being well-versed in both English and Chinese will be advantageous in this role.

  • Degree in Accounting or equivalent qualifications
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience in construction
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Knowledge of SAP is an advantage
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well versed in English and Chinese
