What you'll do:
As the Finance Manager for the parking operations business, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's finances. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial reporting, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, coordinating audits, and enhancing financial processes specific to the parking division. Additionally, you will provide strategic financial analysis to support planning and work closely with internal stakeholders across departments.
- Oversee the preparation and timely delivery of accurate financial statements and reports in accordance with MFRS or other relevant standards.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate and manage the annual audit process, including preparing audit schedules and liaising with external auditors.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve financial reporting processes and controls within the parking business.
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and development opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including accounting, finance, and executive teams, to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Stay current on changes in financial regulations and standards, assessing their impact on the organization.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in finance management. With your Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field, and preferably a CPA or CIMA certification, you have the knowledge base to excel in this role. Your 5 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing, including at least 2 years in a management role, have equipped you with the skills necessary to lead and manage a team effectively. Your proficiency in financial reporting software and ERP systems will be crucial in this role. Your excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills will be put to good use as you navigate through complex financial information.
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or CIMA certification preferred.
* Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or auditing, with at least 2 years in a management role.
* Strong knowledge of MFRS and other relevant accounting standards.
* Proficient in financial reporting software and ERP systems; experience with specific software is a plus.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
* Strong leadership and team management abilities.
* Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
