Our client, a leading property developer with over 30 years of experience and a strong presence in key regions such as Klang Valley, Penang, and Johor, is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager. This role offers an attractive salary range from RM120,000 to RM156,000 and is based in the vibrant city of Putrajaya. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where they can make significant contributions to the company's financial operations.

What you'll do:


As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations. Your responsibilities will include ensuring accurate and timely submission of management accounts, monitoring budgets against actual performance, overseeing tax estimates and audits, and coordinating with various departments on tax matters. You will also be responsible for overseeing budget compilation and providing strategic input to support high-level decision-making by management. Additionally, you will review and approve payment requests while ensuring adherence to internal KPIs.


* Ensure accurate and timely submission of monthly/quarterly management accounts for assigned companies
* Monitor township budgets and profitability statements against actual performance
* Ensure timely monthly and final tax payments, file initial/revised tax estimates (CP204/CP204A)
* Coordinate with tax agents and internal tax departments on all tax matters
* Oversee township/annual budget compilation, coordinating with business units to gather relevant information
* Review and approve payment and fund transfer requests, while monitoring the full AP cycle from invoice processing to payment


What you bring:


The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings a wealth of experience in financial reporting and operations. With your Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (or related field) coupled with professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA certification, you are well-equipped for this role. Your 7-10 years of experience in the field has honed your analytical and problem-solving skills. Your proven leadership abilities and strong communication skills enable you to present complex financial data clearly. Your ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines will be crucial in this role.


* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as CPA or ACCA certification are preferred
* 7 to 10 years of experience in financial reporting, finance operations or auditing
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills
* Proven leadership, team management abilities, and strong communication skills
* Ability to work under pressure, manage tight deadlines
