Our client, a prestigious property development firm, is seeking a Finance Manager with a strong background in a professional audit environment to join their Kuala Lumpur team. The selected candidate will report to the Group Managing Director, assuming a pivotal role in managing the finance function across the group's daily operations.

What you'll do:
As Finance Manager, you’ll lead the group’s financial operations, focusing on efficient, compliant, and insightful financial management. Key responsibilities include assessing and analyzing weekly cash flows, preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring strict adherence to accounting standards, overseeing regulatory and tax compliance, liaising with auditors and bankers, and supporting the Group Managing Director with various assignments. This position calls for an individual adept at navigating complex financial scenarios to drive optimal outcomes.
* Oversee the finance function within the group’s daily operations.
* Review and analyze group weekly cash flows.
* Prepare and review monthly management and consolidated accounts, assessing actual performance against budget.
* Verify daily payments and petty cash, ensuring compliance with standard operating procedures.
* Manage all regulatory and tax compliance matters.
* Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and tax agents for tax submissions.
* Handle treasury functions and liaise with bankers.
* Assist the Group MD with ad-hoc projects as needed.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager role will bring a robust foundation in finance and audit, ideally within professional audit environment. A professional degree such as ACCA, CPA, or MICPA is required. With 8 to 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role, you will have demonstrated expertise in handling complex financial matters. Integrity, strategic vision, technical expertise, analytical capability, and a proactive operational focus are essential qualities for success.
