What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in steering the financial direction of our client's automotive manufacturing business. You will lead the Operational Finance team, ensuring smooth operations while assisting the CFO. Your responsibilities will extend from developing budgets and forecasts to preparing comprehensive financial reports for management. You will also manage cash flows, ensuring that the company has sufficient funds for its obligations and expansion programs. Your keen eye for detail will ensure the accuracy of financial records while your analytical skills will help identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Oversee the Operational Finance team, managing GL, Costing, FP&A, and Treasury functions
- Assist the CFO in maintaining smooth operation of the Finance department
- Develop and implement budgets and forecasts
- Prepare and present financial reports to management and board of directors
- Ensure accuracy of financial records by overseeing the accounting team
- Manage cash flows to support company obligations and expansion programs
- Implement internal controls and policies to safeguard company assets
- Conduct management reporting according to adopted accounting standards
- Analyse financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Liaise with stakeholders such as auditors, bankers, and lawyers
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position brings along a professional qualification or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent. You have at least five years of solid working experience in an external audit or commercial accounting role. Experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous. Your proficiency in Microsoft Excel intermediate/advanced functions coupled with your good command of English sets you apart. You are known for your analytical skills, ability to multitask, and maintain a positive attitude. Your excellent teamwork skills and outspoken nature make you a valuable team player.
- Professional qualification (e.g., ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ICAEW/MICPA) or Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Minimum five years of experience in external audit or commercial accounting role
- Experience in manufacturing sector with knowledge in ERP (Oracle NetSuite) would be advantageous
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel intermediate/advance functions
- Good command in English with diligent, proactive and optimistic attitude
- Analytical skills with ability to multitask and maintain positive attitude
- Excellent teamwork skills with outspoken nature and great interpersonal skills
