Accounting Manager

What you'll do:

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's financial operations.

• Perform reviews and approvals to ensure smooth month end close with timely and accurate submission.
• Ensure tax compliance, including reviewing of GST, withholding tax and corporate tax.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams on various projects.
• Ensure internal and statutory compliance such as SOX, internal controls, statutory audit.
• Analyse ROI of expenditures for major Capital projects.
• Review balance sheet and legal tax budget and forecasts.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the table.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional qualification like ACCA, CPA, CFA or equivalent.
• 8 years experience of previous related experience.
• Experience working in a large manufacturing company is preferred.
• Proven expertise in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Expert understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX).
