An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and experienced Investor Relations-Assistant Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for initiating and maintaining ongoing dialogue with the Group’s investors and analysts, developing investor relations programs in line with the Group's overall strategy, and communicating strategic plans to gain appreciation from the investing community. This role offers a chance to work on a variety of projects, including capital raising, corporate restructuring, financial modelling and forecasting, as well as assisting in tax, legal and other regulatory compliance matters. * Initiate and maintain dialogue with investors and analysts * Develop and implement investor relations programs * Work on diverse projects including capital raising and corporate restructuring

As an Investor Relations Assistant Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships with investors and analysts. You will be instrumental in developing investor relations programs that align with our overall strategy. Your ability to communicate our strategic plans effectively will be key in gaining appreciation from the investing community. You will also manage the preparation, production, and distribution of various investor-related content. Your responsibilities will extend to reviewing research coverage to ensure balance, objectivity, and completeness. Additionally, you will handle a variety of projects including capital raising, corporate restructuring, financial modelling, forecasting, as well as assisting in tax, legal, and other regulatory compliance matters.

  • Initiate and maintain ongoing dialogue with the Group’s investors and analysts
  • Develop and implement investor relations programs in concert with the Group’s overall strategy
  • Communicate group-wide strategic plans to gain appreciation from the investing community
  • Manage preparation, production and distribution of quarterly earnings announcements, annual report and investor-related web content
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual report and AGM materials
  • Review research coverage to ensure that these are balanced, objective and complete
  • Develop and update the corporate website
  • Handle ad-hoc nature and variability of projects which includes capital raising, Corporate restructuring, financial modelling and forecasting as well as assisting in tax, legal and other regulatory compliance matters

What you bring:

The ideal Investor Relations Assistant Manager will bring a wealth of experience in finance and communication, with a minimum of 3 years in the field. You will have a recognised financial qualification and excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your prior experience in drafting press releases and financial documents for the investment community will be invaluable in this role. A thorough understanding of the sensitivities of dealing with price sensitive information is essential. You will also have the ability to interface effectively with internal parties, pay close attention to detail, and work under pressure to adhere to tight deadlines.

  • Possess a recognised financial qualification
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Finance/Communication
  • Prior experience in drafting press releases and financial documents for the investment community gained through working for a listed company or in a sell side team or at a financial services/financial PR company
  • Thorough understanding of the sensitivities of dealing with price sensitive information
  • Ability to interface effectively with internal parties
  • Close attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
