Our client, a renowned property development company, is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team in Kuala Lumpur. This role offers an attractive salary package of RM120,000 to RM144,000 and the opportunity to work within a high-quality residential and commercial property environment. The successful candidate will report directly to the Group Managing Director and play a crucial role in overseeing the finance function within the group's daily operations.

What you'll do:
As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the group. Your role will involve reviewing and analysing weekly cash flows, preparing monthly management accounts, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures, monitoring regulatory and tax compliance matters, liaising with auditors and bankers, and assisting the Group Managing Director with ad-hoc assignments. This role requires someone who can navigate complex financial situations to maximise results.
* Oversee the finance function within the Group's daily operations.
* Review and analyse group weekly cash flow.
* Prepare and review monthly management and consolidated accounts, analysing actual performance against budget.
* Check and verify daily payments and petty cash to ensure compliance with standard operating procedures.
* Monitor all regulatory and tax compliance matters.
* Liaise with auditors on statutory audits and tax agents on tax submission.
* Liaise with bankers and handle overall treasury functions.
* Assist Group MD with ad-hoc assignments as required.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Finance Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in financial management within the property development sector. You should possess a professional degree such as ACCA/CPA/MICPA and be a registered Chartered Accountant with MIA. With at least 8 to 10 years of relevant business experience under your belt, including 5 years in a financial leadership role, you are well-equipped to navigate complex financial situations. Your high integrity, honesty, leadership skills, strategic vision, technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment, strong operational focus, creative thinking abilities make you the perfect fit for this role.

* At least 8 to 10 years of relevant business experience, with 5 years in a financial leadership role.
* Experience in the property/construction industry or an audit firm is an added advantage.
