Our client, a leading public-listed property developer in Malaysia, is seeking a Treasury Manager to join their team in Subang Jaya. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage the Group’s treasury operations, ensuring liquidity, optimising capital use, and mitigating financial risks. With a salary range of RM108,000 to RM121,000, this position provides a chance to work on notable projects including a 400-acre township and various developments in Cyberjaya, Petaling Jaya, and Subang Jaya.

What you'll do:
As a Treasury Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing the Group's treasury operations. Your excellent skills in cash management will be utilised in overseeing daily operations, optimising cash flow and developing policies. You will foster strong relationships with banks and financial institutions while negotiating banking services. Your expertise in investment management will be key in developing strategies for optimal returns. Additionally, your responsibilities include managing the Group's debt portfolio and supporting financial planning efforts.
* Oversee daily cash management operations, including cash positioning, forecasting and reporting.
* Optimise cash flow by managing the Group’s cash and liquidity positions.
* Develop and maintain cash management policies and procedures.
* Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
* Negotiate and maintain banking services, credit facilities, and other financial products.
* Ensure compliance with all banking agreements and covenants.
* Develop and implement investment strategies to optimise returns on excess cash while managing risk.
* Manage the Group’s debt portfolio, including short-term and long-term borrowings.
* Monitor debt covenants and ensure compliance.
* Support the development of financial forecasts, budgets, and strategic plans.
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for the Treasury Manager role brings a wealth of experience from a Group Treasury function. Your proficiency in financial modelling, cash flow forecasting and treasury operations will be essential for this role. A degree in Accounting/Business Studies/Economics/Finance or equivalent is required. Your ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management coupled with your knowledge of banking regulations will set you apart. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is also required.
* Degree in Accounting / Business studies / Economics / Finance or equivalent.
* At least 5 years' experience in a Group Treasury function.
* Proficient in financial modelling, cash flow forecasting and treasury operations.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office such as Excel and PowerPoint.
* Able to communicate with all levels of management.
* Knowledge on banking regulation, bank products and services (various types of deposit, loan, financial instrument).
