What you'll do:
As an Assistant Finance Manager, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the financial health of the organisation. You will supervise a team of accounting staff, ensuring that all financial reports are accurate and delivered within deadlines. Your expertise will be called upon for various finance-related matters including financial planning, forecasting, and cash flow projections. You will also assist in formulating the company's strategic plan, budget, and targets. Your responsibilities will extend to liaising with external parties such as auditors, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers, and other regulatory bodies.
- Supervise a team of accounting staff
- Ensure accurate and timely financial and management reports
- Handle accounting and/or financing related matters including financial planning and projection or forecast to support management decision
- Prepare cash flow projections to achieve a clear understanding on the cash flow position of the company
- Assist and provide financial guidance in formulation and implementation of company's strategic plan, budget and target
- Maintain accurate & timely financial and operating information and provide analysis, interpretations and projection
- Follow up on capital expenditures to ensure keeping in line with original justification and approval
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, IRBM, RMC, bankers, lawyers and other relevant regulatory bodies
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Assistant Finance Manager role should have at least a Degree in Accountancy/Finance; having a professional qualification would be an added advantage. You should bring along 5-6 years of working experience in Accounting/Finance or a related field. Experience in handling a full set of accounts and working with a Property Developer will be beneficial. You should have basic knowledge on tax matters, and a good understanding of compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is expected. Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential for this role, along with being organized and meticulous.
