About the General Ledger Manager Role: As the General Ledger Manager, you will be responsible for all aspects of finance operations of general ledger which includes correct accounting, journal postings and financial closings.
Lead, delegate and coach the general ledger team
Coordinate and closely liaise with business units or other operations function to ensure all daily transactions can be carried out with minimal disruptions and maintain strong compliance with the Company’s Limits Of Authority (“LOA”), applicable approved accounting standards and Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”)
Manage and ensure all control procedures and general ledger accounts reconciliation are timely
Report and liaise with auditors
Transform the general ledger team into a modern and digitised section
To succeed in this General Ledger Manager role, you must be a high energy, responsive, detail-oriented, and experienced leader with strong communication, presentation, negotiation, analytical, operational, and people skills.
Tertiary qualification in business/finance/accounting/investment/economics
At least seven years of work experience
Strong negotiation skills with a good understanding of current market practices
Team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, resourceful, and able to deliver results under tight deadlines
Written and verbal proficiency in English
Good presentation and writing skills
