An exciting Assistant Finance Manager job has just become available at one of the luxury retail MNCs. In this role, you will assist the Finance Manager in financial reporting, external audit related and assist in the the full set of account closing process.

About the Assistant Finance Manager (Luxury Retail) Role:
In this position, you will assist the Finance Manager in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the monthly financial closing process and ensure timely and accurate reporting of financial results
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and other month-end close-related activities
• Review and analyse financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, and provide explanations for any variances
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and best practices for month-end close procedures
• Assist the Finance Manager in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the company
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for management and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures and external regulatory requirements
• Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and support the audit process
• Perform other ad hoc projects and assignments as required by the Finance Manager

To succeed in this Assistant Finance Manager (Luxury Retail) role, you must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields
• Approximately five years of relevant work experience in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing activities
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting tools
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
