About the Accounts Manager Role:
As the Accounts Manager, you will mainly be involved in handling the accounts receivable, accounts payable, and inventory functions for the company based in Kuala Lumpur.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the forecasting and budgeting and managing internal controls on SOX compliance
• Manage accounts receivable, payable and inventory functions
• Improve accounting systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Increase the functional efficiency and provide guidance and coaching to junior staff
• Oversee the daily operations of the accounting department
• Undertake any other ad hoc duties assigned by the management from time-to-time

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree, professional certificate in accountancy or equivalent with a minimum three years of experience in similar role, preferably within the same industry
• Good communication, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• Advanced computer skills in MS Office and SAP knowledge or similar ERP system
• External audit experience is an advantage
