An exciting Finance Manager job has just become available at one of the Fortune 500 MNCs within the healthcare industry. In this role, you will be managing AP and GL team which consist of around eight members.

About the Finance Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for statutory, external audits, regulatory and tax reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle all statutory, external audits, regulatory and tax reporting
• Ensure the financial data of all Malaysia's entities are recorded timely and accurately
• Prepare month-end closing in accordance with US GAAP and corporate requirements
• Review accounting reconciliation and ensure all issues are resolved in a timely manner
• Ensure effectiveness of internal control
• Lead the general ledger and accounts payable team
• Respond to inquiries from management team regarding financial results and ad hoc tasks

To succeed in this Finance Manager role, you must posses strong people management skill and able to handle external audit matters independently.

Key Requirements:

• At least a degree in accounting or a member of a professional body
• Ideally with 7 - 10 years of relevant experience
• Preferably candidates from an MNC background
• US GAAP knowledge is preferred
• Experience in SOX implementation is an advantage
• Audit experience is preferred
• Strong proficiency in Excel
• Able to work independently and strong problem-solving skills
