Finance Lead

An exciting Finance Lead job has just become available at a renowned healthcare company based in Kuala Lumpur. This role requires you to be responsible for financial planning and reporting, forecasting and budgeting for P&L, balance sheet, and other reporting tools.

About the Finance Lead Role:
This role requires you to be responsible for providing timely and accurate management reports and analysis to the organisation and also highly dependable in managing a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as business partner for the local sales organisation
• Provide support during customer engagement and negotiation on various management levels
• Provide financial and commercial insights to co-develop the best fit business model and financing solutions for customers
• Collaborate with the legal department on the conditions of contracts by attending contract negotiations with sales/PM
• Work closely with the Operations Manager to identify project risk and opportunity on a monthly basis
• Handle the project cost controlling: work closely with the Operations Manager and other departments to ensure the books and records of the projects are properly maintained in accordance to contractual requirement, accounting practices and guidelines with additional proper management of non-conformance cost
• Process customer invoices and follow up on payment

To succeed in this role, you must be strong in people management, critical thinking and have the right mindset for the job.

Key Requirements:

• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in a finance role with exposure to customer C-Suite in negotiation settings
• ACA, CPA, ACCA or CIMA or equivalent
• A degree with an outstanding academic record
• Proven and effective project management skills in running large complex projects with multiple implementation and/or solutions deployments
• Experience in contract negotiations and ongoing contract change management
• Knowledge and experience in using SAP ERP system (Spiridon) is an advantage
• Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred
