R2R Manager

An exciting R2R Manager job has just become available at one of the top leading IT MNCs in the Asia Pacific Region. In this job, you will handle all Record to Report (R2R) related matters.

About the R2R Manager role:
In this business critical role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of financial and accounting functions for the sub group and/or companies assigned, with main focus on record-to-report functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate monthly/quarterly/annual financial and management reporting, in compliance with the applicable governing standards and regulations and group reporting requirements.
• Manage accounting reporting and revenue recognition, review/perform financial statement review and analysis, balance sheet reconciliation review, investigate unusual fluctuations and follow up open items/issues for closure
• Manage cash flow and working capital.
• Management of tax matters and ensuring compliance to laws and regulations and overall tax efficiency with the advisory/review by Tax Manager.
• Coordinate and liaise with the internal and external auditors, the company secretary, tax consultants, bankers, lawyers and other governing authorities pertaining to statutory requirements.
• Formulate and enforce continuous improvement on financial and operations internal controls, policies and procedures.
• Undertake ad hoc assignments or restructuring of portfolio as directed by the management from time to time.

To succeed in this R2R Manager role, you must be posses strong people management and leadership skills.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors's degree in accounting/finance or in any related fields
• Preferably with work experience in audit firm and a shared services organisation
• Detail oriented and organised; strong planning, prioritisation, communication and presentation skills
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Able to produce accurate work within deadlines
