An exciting Senior Accountant job has just become available at one of the oil and gas firms based in Kuala Lumpur.
About the Senior Accountant Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for carrying out the day-to-day operations, bursa quarterly announcement and group consolidation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take charge of quarterly Bursa announcement and dashboard reporting to BOD
- Prepare year-end financial statements
- Review and analyse all subsidiaries management report and quarterly reporting pack
- Liaise with external auditors
- Assess and implement accounting standards
- Manage any ad hoc external reporting, including financials for any corporate exercises
- Coordinate quarterly and annual stock take
To succeed in this Senior Accountant role, you will need to have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of two to four years of experience in a similar capacity
- Able to perform in a dynamic multicultural environment with an adaptive attitude
- Minimum requirements: degree in accounting
- Professional qualifications e.g. ACCA, CPA from a recognised tertiary institution are an advantage
